Residents encouraged to work at upcoming RBWM elections

Our Council employs more than 500 people during an election period to help the process run in a smooth and transparent way.

Each time it has vacancies for committed individuals to work in the polling stations, opening postal votes and counting votes overnight.

It is looking for people who can give a high level of customer service at its polling stations and greet the first elector with the same enthusiasm as the last.

Please consider working at the next scheduled RBWM elections on Thursday 4 May. Anyone interested in taking part should complete the online form and RBWM will be in touch.

If you are 18 or over you can volunteer for one of the following roles – you will be paid a fee

The electoral job opportunities available include:

  • Polling staff
  • Verification and Counting staff
  • Postal votes staff
