With many sections of pavements and potholes in Clewer North being virtually impassable or in a poor state of repair, it’s time to start seeking improvements to bring peace to pedestrians and, greater security for motorists.
Problems with pavements and potholes in Clewer North
Many sections of the pavement in Clewer North are virtually impassable, making it dangerous for the young, old and infirm to enjoy their town.
Also, residential roads in the area haven’t been repaired of renewed for many years risking damage to our vehicles. Pavements and potholes have further deteriorated since the number of inspectors was cut and a wider range of duties was imposed on those who were left.
In his recent election leaflet, newly elected IndependentCouncillor, Wisdom Da Costa, promised to liaise with Officers to progress repairs especially when advised that residents Report Forms remain un-actioned.

let’s work together to make Windsor better for all
Help us help the Council improve the pavements and potholes
Wisdom asks us, and you, to help him help you and us, he says “I am but one person so, be my eyes and ears and, let’s work together to make Windsor better for all.
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 so, can you (1) check the pavements and roads in your area please?
All you then have to do is (2) fill in the sheet, like the ones below to note the problems and (3) email the details to me. You can use the forms to set out
- multiple faults to pavements, potholes, and roads
- for many streets
- noting the severity of the fault
- commenting on the problems caused for pedestrians and road users by the fault
Then email your initial responses to me by 25 June 2017 to Cllr.DaCosta@RBWM.gov.uk.
I will then amalgamate your comments with mine and, working with the WWRA;
- Present and discuss them with the Highways team when I meet them in late June 2017
- Monitor the completion and progress on improving the said streets over my tenure as your Councillor and,
- Report back to you regularly
Let’s work together, you, me, the WWRA and, the RBWM to improve roads and pavements in our area.”
The WWRA asks, Are you up for it? Are you ready for improved pavements & roads and better pedestrian and vehicle access?
Wouldn’t it be great get to work as a community on this project?
