WWRA’s new Chair

Helen, who has lived in Windsor for over 40 years, started married life in St Leonards Avenue, moving to Monks Road, York Avenue and now lives in Illingworth.

She worked at Slough College later to become Thames Valley University as Dean of Faculty, moving onto Ealing Tertiary College as Deputy Director. The latter part of her career was as a consultant specialising in Outplacement Support.

Helen says “I joined the WWRA last year and was impressed by all the good work it does in representing the interests of its members and local people. I intend to build on the excellent work of previous Chairmen through encouraging more residents in the three Clewer Wards and Park Ward to join and play an active role in the Association. I would like to encourage members to contact me or any of the Committee members to share their views, thoughts and concerns in order that we can be assured we are continuing to represent your views”

Cllr Wisdom Da Costa, 2014/15 WWRA Chairman said, “I am thrilled that Helen has taken on the role of WWRA Chairperson. Helen brings a great range of skills and abilities, and her work for the community and local charities, often unseen, is immense. Helen’s eats, sleeps, and breathes Social Justice; she puts people first. She will make an excellent Chairperson for the WWRA.”
