Don’t lose your vote

Retaining your vote and power is vital for democracy. Wisdom explains how to sign up for a Postal vote, to register as a voter, or to vote by proxy – the deadlines are fast approaching. Make sure you have the right to vote, or to receive a postal vote if you will be on holiday on 7 May 2015.

If you are not on the Electoral Register, register to vote

You can register on-line;

  1. Online at https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote?gclid=COKf0JGzvsQCFbLLtAodUnwANQ, or
  2. By post, using the forms at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/voter-registration-forms-paper-versions

The deadline 5pm on 20 April 2015

If you want a Postal Vote…

If you are on the Electoral Register, then

  1. register for a postal vote at http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk/how-do-i-vote/voting-by-post, or
  2. Download, print, and post the forms from

If you are not yet on the Electoral Register, register first, using the process ABOVE

Hurry, hurry, the deadline to register for a postal vote is 5pm on 21 April 2015

To vote by proxy

Fill in the relevant form and send it to RBWM at “Electoral Registration Officer, The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Town Hall, St Ives Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 1RF

To receive a proxy vote

RBWM must receive your proxy application form by 5pm on 28 april 2015.
