RBWM SURVEY/CONSULTATIONS – LOCAL PLAN

RBWM SURVEY ON GREEN SPACES AND THE WINDSOR LINK RAILWAY. On 12th July 2015, the Council introduced a consultation on the proposals for a Windsor Link Railway (WLR), which will connect the GWR line and SWR line with new underground station built close to the current location of Windsor Central Station. WINDSOR FOODSHARE NEEDS YOUR HELP

Windsor FoodShare provides non-perishable food to families and individuals in Windsor who would otherwise be going hungry.  They are currently helping up to 50 familes per week from distribution points in Dedworth and Central Windsor.  To ensure that food reaches the people who need it most they only supply food to families who have been referred by appropriate professionals.  See http://www.windsorfoodshare.org.uk/ for more information. Walking Into Windsor

Time To Walk?

There is plenty of advice telling us that walking is good for us. Now that Living Street’s National Walking Week is over you can decide.   If you feel like stretching your legs on a nice summer’s day why not walk into Windsor.  Whenever I walk I see busy roads full of cars but, with the exception of school times, there are very few pedestrians around.  The photos in this post prove the point and were taken mid-morning on a weekday.  Why not add your footprints to these pavements?
