On 12th July 2015, the Council introduced a consultation on the proposals for a Windsor Link Railway (WLR), which will connect the GWR line and SWR line with new underground station built close to the current location of Windsor Central Station. There is plenty of advice telling us that walking is good for us. Now that Living Street’s National Walking Week is over you can decide. If you feel like stretching your legs on a nice summer’s day why not walk into Windsor. Whenever I walk I see busy roads full of cars but, with the exception of school times, there are very few pedestrians around. The photos in this post prove the point and were taken mid-morning on a weekday. Why not add your footprints to these pavements?
