With the Bray Parish Council elections just a few days away, Wisdom reflects on the admirable qualities displayed by Independent Brian Millin during recent campaigning and asks, should you vote for Brian Millin as Bray Parish Councillor?
Independent candidate, Brian Millin has really impressed me during the campaigning for the Bray Parish Council election despite goading and personal attacks from none other than the Conservative Leader of RBWM; Brian, to his credit, did not retaliate but rather, remained dignified and cool under fire.
In case you weren’t aware. there are two elections taking place in the Bray Parish on 16 November 2017, both of which feature local residents standing as Independent candidates – all other candidates are party political and live outside the local parish.
- Bray Village
- Holyport
Brian lives locally in Bray Parish and says, “Like many people I’ve been interested in my local community and environment for as long as I can remember. I do get involved as an individual resident attending as many RBWM Cabinet and Council meetings as I can. I also attend Bray Parish Council meetings.”
Brian is a very able and accomplished individual
Brian is a very able and accomplished individual who since retirement (what’s retirement?) from his role as MD of a luxury car group, has worked extensively with local charities and community groups to put value back into people’s lives.
His charity and community work includes;
- Ben – Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund as a Care Services Committee Member
- Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
- Thames Valley Police Dog Section
- RBWM Ambassador
Brian is unafraid to challenge and question those in authority
Brian is unafraid to challenge and question those in authority, to fight for justice for ordinary folk so much so that, he was recently the subject of what can be regarded as a personal attack from Council Leader, and Tory role model, Simon Dudley on Twitter.
Why not go for it @MrSimonDudley how about 50% on @RBWM owned land developments .be brave in @RBWM can we do this ? Should we do this ? https://t.co/7lADQcbHU3

Great ability and skills, a heart for the people and high levels of personal integrity
In my mind, we need Independent thinkers, with great ability and skills, a heart for the people and high levels of personal integrity to serve the public.
Judging by his behavior I believe that Brian Millin will be the best person for the job of Parish Councillor in Bray, by a long way.

.
Who says you should vote for Brian Millin?
- I do. Cllr Wisdom Da Costa says, “Why settle for second best? I urge you to VOTE FOR BRIAN MILLIN.“
- Holyport Residents Association says, “We have no hesitation in recommending that you VOTE FOR…BRIAN MILLIN.“
- West Windsor Residents Association (WWWRA), Vice Chair, Richard Endacott says, “BRIAN MILLIN is the best man for the job”
I will let Brian have the final word, “We are going through changing times in RBWM and we need strong independent Parish Councillors to represent us. I believe I can represent you fairly and independently.”
Accountably yours,
Wisdom
