What’s on in the Borough

  • Clewer Green Summer Fair (Saturday 1 July, 11am to 4pm) – Hatch Lane, Windsor. An afternoon of family fun. There is something for everyone including games, stalls, face painting, tombolas, entertainment, and a fully licensed bar. Learn more on the Facebook event page.
  • Rock the Rec (Saturday 1 July and Sunday 2 July, from noon) – Clewer Memorial Park, Dedworth Road, Windsor. Tickets for the two-day music festival are available at the Rock the Rec website or from Woody’s Café at Clewer Memorial Park. Along with local bands, the weekend will also feature stalls, food, free bouncy castle and a funfair.
  • Parallel Windsor 2023 (Sunday 2 July) – Windsor Great Park. The inaugural mass-participation sports event and Festival of Inclusivity which champions disability inclusion will see participants taking part in a range of multiple running, walking, and pushing distances; including 100m, 1K, 5K and 10K. There will also be Parallel’s innovative SuperSensory 1K, supporting neurodiversity and participants with profound and multiple learning disabilities to exercise their senses over a series of challenges such as responding to sound, taste, and touch.   • Celebrate International Sunday at King’s Church International (Sunday 2 July, 10am) – Braywick Leisure Centre for our Special International Sunday family service. A celebration of the 50 plus different nationalities represented in the church, and God’s love for people from all nations and ethnicities. Come wearing your national dress, or with a flag from your nation(s). There will be live worship and refreshments to enjoy together after the service. For details visit the website.
  • Eton College Gardens (Tuesday 4 July, from noon to 4.30pm) – Eton College Gardens, Eton, nr Windsor, SL4 6DB. As well as seeing the gardens of the Provost, Vice Provost and Head Master, you will be able to enjoy tea and delicious homemade cakes provided and served by supporters of Thames Hospice.   • Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (5 to 8 July, 6.30pm, Saturday matinee 8 July, 2pm) at The Farrer Theatre, Eton College. A cast of students from across Windsor First, Middle and Upper Schools present Andrew Lloyd Webber’s colourful musical. Tickets available here.
  • Shout! (6 to 8 July) Old Court arts space in Windsor. Shout! is a musical set in England during the swinging Sixties and features classic songs such as Son Of A Preacher Man, Downtown, These Boots Are Made For Walkin’ and many more. For more details visit the website.
  • Windsor Ascot & Maidenhead Community Land Trust conference focused on affordable housing for the borough. (Thursday 6 July, 9.30am to 3.30pm) – The Old Barn, Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Maidenhead SL6 4PF.
